Based in Cheshire Romo Biopulse started with magnetic collars for racing Greyhounds at about the start of the Millennium. Having perfected these, We were introduced to Pulsed Electromagnotherapy by Dr. David Somerville-Laycock, an acknowledged World expert in this field , and with whose help we have developed this part of the Company. We also received help and advice from Dr. Ellen Singer of LEAHURST, the EQUINE HOSPITAL, part of Liverpool University. All our products (except the Neodymium Rare Earth Magnets) are sourced from within the UK, our webbing and collar accessories from Abbey Saddlery ( by appointment to Her Majesty the Queen ), and the Leather collars are hand made in Yorkshire.
At Romo Biopulse we use our UNIQUE concept of concentric polarity which agitates passing blood cells and imparts the ability to carry more OXYGEN, and, at the same time getting rid of toxins such as LACTIC ACID, which, if allowed to crystallise, causes joint problems. Our dog collars have FOUR magnetic elements which, when located over the jugular veins either side of the windpipe, act on the main blood flow in both directions, giving the optimum effect. Our kennel fleeces act on the whole of the body; shoulders, back and hind quarters, giving relief over long periods. Our stable wraps can be used anywhere on the body; for travelling, cold back and, when used on the legs help reduce ulcers, laminitis, splints etc., and can be used over extended periods when the horse is left unsupervised. Our PEMT ( Pulsed Electromagnotherapy) Units are used by Animal Physiotherapists. They are battery or mains driven, and give deep penetrative treatment to Lacerations, oedemas, swellings, bruising, non - union fractures etc., and, when used in conjunction with our Infra Red Laser Thermometer which can pinpoint the source of an injury, form a complete treatment package second to none.
